Stepper VS Inverter

The course emphasizes practical operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Industrial Inverters and AC Variable Frequency Drives. On successful completion of training you will be able to:-

·         Apply safe working practices when working with variable speed drives
·         Identify and correct configuration errors
·         Correctly configure, operate and monitor drive systems
·         Identify error codes and take necessary corrective action
·         Diagnose hardware problems
·         Differentiate between drive faults, motor faults and power faults
·         Make routine component replacements
·         Differentiate between control / power circuit drive faults
·         Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of operation of a range of inverter drive systems
·         Appreciate the concepts of fieldbus communications and SCADA systems

 Following topics will be covered in the Inverters training course:

·         Motor theory
·         Inverter model selection
·         Keypad and PC-based configuration of the inverter
·         An overview of the hardware, installation considerations, startup and commissioning, and troubleshooting

We practice 70% hands-on training during the course.
